Busy, busy bee

Hi!!! I haven't actually disappeared to obscurity but just very, very busy recently. Work and the kids, the usual plus other extras such as this small business I've started and the photography job I took recently which took endless of time getting the photos edited and organized. I am not sure if I'm going to do weddings anymore.

Apart from this I am preparing for my little girl's first birthday in September. I know it's still a long way but knowing me I'd like it very special and I'm really excited about it. I actually started making clothes as I want to make her dress. I am enjoying it so it's all looking good.. more practice every night. These are the ones I made her so far. I'm hoping you are all good and will visit your site very soon.

Pretty Flower

Hello there!!! I'm glad I survived my first week back at work with all the anxiety rising and adrenaline pumping high. I seem to have calm down a bit after knowing that my children are settling with their new child minder and hubby is managing putting them both to bed while I'm away. So, it's looking good so far.

I have done quite a bit since last weekend. I painted the shed (finally) with sea grass. I'll post it here when I finish with putting the finishing touches. However when I went to the shop yesterday the first thing which caught my attention was these pink peonies.. I hurriedly looked at them and damn they were 6 pounds a bunch.. tsk, tsk. As much as I wanted them I said no to myself. So there I did the shopping thinking sometime I will treat myself.

So when I went back today to get some nappies and milk for Nina, they were there  again. I just thought, hey I'd just buy a bunch and why not? Luckily they were reduced to half the price. Imagine if I bought them yesterday I would have been kicking myself knowing they were reduced today..Haha so I bought two bunches.

 I bought this jug from a car boot sale the previous weekend. I was looking for a white one but they are hard to come by this time. I was lucky though as it only cost me a pound.. a bargain! I also bought this cup and saucer. They came in a set of six for two pounds. I find them pretty although they are quite old fashion.

Little Love Headpieces

Hello there! I finally found a name of my new pet project and it's called Little Love Headpieces. I have started putting an item in Ebay and hopefully I could get some buyers. As this is a hobby in a way I don't want to put pressure on myself. I'm just happy to share my work to others and hopefully could make others smiling too. Here are my new collection :-).
